Andrew joined Feilden Fowles in 2019. He leads several projects for the office, including a commercial scheme within the Royal Street development in London and a student residential scheme at the University of Cambridge.

Andrew has a wide range of experience having joined from Henley Halebrown Architects. Delivering Stirling Prize nominated projects Hackney New Primary School and Chadwick Hall. Andrew completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Liverpool and postgraduate studies at University of Sheffield. Andrew has strong ties with both universities and occasionally guest tutors. Outside of the office you’ll find Andrew labouring up countryside hills on his bike or walking his dog in South London.

Catija studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, where she spent two years in practice working for Miller & Maranta, Bakker & Blanc and Sergison Bates architects. She previously worked for Caruso St John Architects as an associate involved in several of the practice’s major projects, including the reorganisation of Tate Britain, the restoration and extension of Asplund’s Stockholm City Library, and more recently led projects at Cambridge and Oxford Colleges. She lectures at Kingston University and has been a guest critic at the University College Dublin.

Catija joined Feilden Fowles in November 2024 to oversee the Mansfield College transformation project in Oxford and a new learning space at Tate Britain. She is an ambitious architect with a sharp eye for detail, and takes seriously the responsibility to increase sustainability, elevate cultural heritage and create carefully thought through architecture that lasts.

Charlotte joined Feilden Fowles in 2022 and, working closely with the Management Team, is responsible for a number of roles across the practice including Human Resources and Finance. Prior to this, Charlotte was the Finance & HR Director for a unique London hospitality offering and has over 10 years experience of working with creative businesses.

Charlotte has a first class honours degree in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University and is inherently passionate about all forms of art and design. She is also an alumni mentor for fledgling graduates of Nottingham Trent University, providing one on one support as they enter the creative industries. When she’s not in the studio, Charlotte is often found swimming at her local lido, foraging for courgettes in her vegetable patch or hunting out the nearest craft beer pub.

Donghyen joined Feilden Fowles in 2025 after graduating from the Architectural Association. He is currently working on a cultural project on the outskirts of London. His academic work has explored community, public engagement, and the spatial experience of thresholds. He investigated collaborative architectures that foster collective ways of life and considered how transitional spaces can reshape the relationship between cultural institutions and the public.
Before studying in the UK, he graduated in Interior Architecture in South Korea and gained experience through internships at several practices. He has also been recognised in several architectural competitions. His approach is grounded in a poetic sensitivity to space, an awareness of collective memory, and the crafted making of architecture.
Outside of architecture, he enjoys racket sports, particularly tennis and badminton.

Edmund has delivered a range of award-winning projects, from Feilden Fowles’ own studio in Waterloo to Charlie Bigham’s Food Production Campus in Somerset. He is leading on a number of prestigious education projects, including the recently completed new dining hall for Homerton College, University of Cambridge, and new graduate accommodation and student facilities for Green Templeton College, University of Oxford. He is also leading Feilden Fowles’ proposals for the Urban Nature Project, transforming the five acre gardens surrounding the Natural History Museum.

Edmund is an external examiner at the Architectural Association and has taught and lectured widely, including at the RIBA, University of Cambridge and London Metropolitan University where he taught a design studio for several years with Ingrid Petit, exploring new forms of education design. Edmund is a keen cyclist, and is championing the practice’s low tech agenda.

Eleanor is a skilled architect and project lead with a wealth of experience working for institutional clients, delivering buildings that compliment their organisational aspirations and ethics. Her recent projects include delivering the practice’s award-winning dining hall for Homerton College, Cambridge, which she oversaw from winning through competition to completion. She has also been instrumental in developing the Urban Nature Project for the Natural History Museum. As well as these larger buildings, she has also delivered smaller community projects for the practice including the design and construction of Waterloo City Farm.

Prior to working at Feilden Fowles Eleanor worked at DK-CM where she helped deliver two large public projects for Local Authority clients. She was also a founding member of the Turner Prize winning architecture collective Assemble, and was involved in helping design and build their celebrated award-winning projects The Cineroleum and Folly for a Flyover. Eleanor studied architecture at Cambridge and UCL with drawings from her MArch thesis selected for exhibition in the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition. She has been a guest critic and lecturer at a number of schools including the Architectural Association and Royal College of Art, and is an enthusiastic about supporting greater access to the profession.

Elise joined Feilden Fowles in 2024 after two years teaching at Yale School of Architecture and working on the design of an affordable housing scheme in New Haven, CT. She completed her M.Arch at Yale School of Architecture where she received the Parsons Medal for Urban Design. Prior to this, Elise worked at DK-CM architects and Parti studio in London on a variety of projects for local authorities. She completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture at the University of Cambridge.

Elise is also a writer and contributes regularly to The Architectural Review where she used to work on the editorial team.

Fabrizio joined Feilden Fowles in early 2025 to oversee the delivery of the Nature + Love project for the Horniman Museum and Gardens in South London.

Fabrizio graduated with distinction in Rome and moved to London in 2013. During this period, he had the opportunity to work with emerging creative practices as well as leading international firms, gaining expertise in the design, communication and delivery of complex building structures. Prior to joining Feilden Fowles, he spent four years at Hopkins Architects, playing a key role in the delivery of a major office and retail development in the City of London. More recently, he worked as an associate at Carter Gregson Gray, contributing to a variety of cultural and community projects within the growing practice. Beyond architecture, Fabrizio enjoys travelling and is passionate about sports like basketball, surfing and running.

Fergus is passionate about leading project teams to create aspirational shared visions, and to deliver complex and challenging projects particularly on sensitive sites. He is currently working with high profile clients across the country including the National Trust, TfL, the Science Museum Group, Carlisle Cathedral and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. His projects span education, culture, strategic and heritage sectors, with current commissions including a masterplan for Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and Central Hall at the National Railway Museum in York.

He has lectured widely at universities and other cultural institutions across the UK, is a panel member of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Quality Review Panel, RIBA Awards judge and visiting professor at Sheffield University. Fergus enjoys spending time in the natural world; exploring, making, running and cycling.

Finian joined Feilden Fowles in 2022 having previously worked for Adam Khan Architects and Delvendahl Martin Architects.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Manchester School of Architecture and his Masters at Kingston School of Architecture and Landscape, graduating in 2021 with a distinction. His thesis project was nominated for the AJ student prize and was awarded a commendation in the RIBA Silver Medal. The project was informed by post-colonial Nigerian fiction and looked to establish a new school of art in the city of Enugu, drawing from both historic and contemporary west African building typologies to create the conditions for a new form of cultural reproduction in the south-eastern Nigerian city.

At Feilden Fowles, Finian is currently part of the team working on Black Robin Farm, a new cultural project for Eastbourne.

Francesca joined the studio team at Feilden Fowles in 2022, bringing her previous architecture and administration experience from small firms in Oxford and London. She now works across several pillars of the business, including Marketing & PR and Finance, working closely with Charlotte and the Directors and supporting the team through the day-to-day.

Outside of work, Francesca enjoys swimming, baking and crafts. She loves to spend time with our four legged studio friends – whether visiting dogs or the resident goats, pigs and sheep next door at Oasis Farm Waterloo!

Frankie joined Feilden Fowles in 2023 and is a key part of the team working on an estate development strategy for Mansfield College, Oxford.

Previously, Frankie spent three years at FCB Studios in Bath working on several higher education projects including the technical design of Stephen Taylor Court, a Passivhaus residential project for graduates and fellows at King’s College, Cambridge.

Frankie completed his masters at the University of Bath, graduating with first class honours. His thesis project involved a research trip to India and investigated how Rajasthani vernacular, historic building typologies and traditional construction techniques could be reinterpreted and translated for a contemporary setting.

Hope joined the team as Studio Assistant in 2025 after graduating with First Class Honours in an Integrated Masters in Liberal Arts from the University of Bristol. She completed her Bachelors studies at University College Utrecht in the Netherlands, specialising in Art History and Cultural Heritage studies, before returning to Bristol to gain her Masters, with her final thesis exploring curatorial and architectural solutions to contended Dutch colonial heritage sites. Alongside her Masters, she also co-curated and edited an exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.

Hope is naturally passionate about design and history, and outside of work loves to travel, exploring new languages and cultures. She is often on the hunt for new active and creative endeavours, from taking up padel to block printing! She is also passionate about creative approaches to health and wellbeing, and volunteers for the NHS.

Izzy joined Feilden Fowles in June 2025 and is part of the team working on a student residential scheme at the University of Cambridge.

She completed her Master’s at the RCA, where she was awarded the Technical Studies Prize and nominated for the RIBA London West Award, and prior to this, studied at the University of Cambridge, graduating with First Class Honours in 2019.

Izzy has previously worked at TYPE Studio and Tuckey Design Studio in London, gaining experience on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, often in sensitive historical environments.

She is passionate about preserving historic fabric, bioclimatic construction and enhancing local ecology and biodiversity, through careful, considered design.

Outside of work, Izzy enjoys painting, running, cycling and cold water swimming.

Jack studied Architectural Technology at Nottingham Trent University graduating with a 1st Class degree, and is an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. Jack has gained a wide range of experience in
the BIM environment, including model coordination workshops, having worked on various projects at different scales such as infrastructure schemes for Crossrail and Thames Tideway, and large scale build-to-rent developments.
At Feilden Fowles Jack works across all studio projects to provide BIM support and coordination as a Revit Technician, and has been instrumental in assisting the technical development and tender packages for the Central Hall project for the National Railway Museum. Jack is passionate about improving team collaboration and workflow efficiency using BIM whilst helping clients further engage with their projects in the pre-construction phases. Outside of Feilden Fowles Jack enjoys several sporting activities including skiing, rock climbing and cycling.

James joined Feilden Fowles having completed his studies in Dublin, Delft, and Zurich. His graduation project saw him work with the National Health Service to establish a tactile attitude to existing buildings, prioritising the legibility of public architecture through rigorous design.
Before joining Feilden Fowles James worked at award-winning practices in Dublin and London, contributing to cultural and education projects and developing skills he hopes to apply to an architecture that’s material, social, and sustainable.
At work and beyond James is a keen maker, motivated by an engaged view on construction. He takes an enthusiastic role in the office’s model making, and enjoys staying active and outdoors where he can.

Maelys joined Feilden Fowles in 2019 and is a key part of the team working on the Urban Nature Project for the Natural History Museum in London. Maelys completed her postgraduate diploma at the London School of Architecture with Distinction, where she worked at Mikhail Riches alongside her studies. Her final thesis encouraged an ethical vision of sustainability encompassing nature’s multiplicity of realities. Her dissertation was selected for the RIBA Dissertation Medal, and her drawings were exhibited in the Royal Academy’s 2020 Summer Exhibition.

Before joining Feilden Fowles, Maelys worked on a range of projects in Paris at AWP office for territorial reconfiguration and NP2F architects. Alongside work, she lectures at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Edinburgh University.

Matthew joined Feilden Fowles at the end of 2019. He previously spent 5 years at Niall McLaughlin Architects, where he was Project Architect for a number of schemes including Hampshire House, which won a RIBA National Award in 2019. He also worked on the Stirling Prize Winning new library for Magdalene College in Cambridge, a song school for Trinity Hall in Cambridge and an International Rugby Museum in Limerick, Ireland.

Prior to this, Matthew worked at a variety of practices including AHMM architects, where he played a key role on a £34m mixed use redevelopment on Old Street reinventing and extending a collection of underperforming existing buildings and providing an extensive regeneration of the public realm. In 2011, whilst working in practice, he was employed by Newcastle University to carry out a ‘Collaborative Innovative Partnership’ exploring how environmental research could inform architectural design. Matthew graduated from Newcastle University with a first class honours degree and was awarded the Napper Memorial Prize for the highest design mark of the year.

Nick has twenty five years’ experience working in architectural practices in the UK and Hong Kong. For over ten years he was an Associate Director at David Chipperfield’s office in London, leading a series of high profile projects including the Hepworth Wakefield in West Yorkshire and Turner Contemporary in Margate, as well as realising the transformational masterplan for the Royal Academy, linking their home on Piccadilly to the former Museum of Mankind on Burlington Gardens. Alongside establishing his own practice in 2017, Nick was a consultant to Witherford Watson Mann architects for four years, delivering the major refurbishment of the Courtauld Institute of Art in the Grade I listed Somerset House, completed in 2021. He has lectured at architectural schools across the UK and is currently an examiner for Part 3 professional studies at the Architectural Association. Nick joined Feilden Fowles’ team in 2024 and is currently working on Mansfield College in Oxford.

Oliver joined Feilden Fowles in July 2024, bringing a strong academic background and experience from a range of sectors and practices. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of Bath, graduating with first-class honours. His thesis explored how architecture can serve as a framework to address global biodiversity decline, focusing on promoting better ecology within urban environments. This work was nominated for both the RIBA Silver Medal and the RIBA Dissertation Medal, and he was awarded the Foster + Partners Student Research Award.

Since joining Feilden Fowles, Oliver has worked on several projects, most recently working with the Mansfield College team. Outside of architecture, Oliver is a keen baker and enjoys reading— recently setting up and running the Feilden Fowles book club.

Ruggero joined Feilden Fowles in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles at other award-winning practices. His expertise spans various sectors, with a particular focus on cultural projects in sensitive historical settings and a commitment to sustainability. At Feilden Fowles, Ruggero is currently leading the delivery of Black Robin Farm, a cultural and educational centre in the South Downs National Park.

Previously, Ruggero spent three years at Stanton Williams, playing a key role in the team transforming a derelict Victorian market into the new Museum of London. More recently, at Asif Khan he led the technical design of the Canning Dock regeneration project in Liverpool, while at Carmody Groarke he was project architect for a complex Victorian building retrofit in the City of London. Ruggero graduated with distinction from Politecnico di Milano and Tongji University with a thesis on the sustainable regeneration of a historic water town in China. Passionate about music and art, Ruggero also enjoys outdoor sports like climbing, hiking, and skiing.

Will studied architecture at Cambridge, Edinburgh and London Metropolitan University, qualifying as an architect in 2015.

Will joined Feilden Fowles in 2025, taking joint responsibility for the development of the practice’s largest project to date – the holistic transformation of an Oxford College in collaboration with acclaimed landscape designers, Tom Stuart Smith Studio.

Prior to this, Will delivered work under his own name and held senior positions at respected practices in London. His time in practice has so far included work for a diverse range of clients, and across an equally broad array of scales and building types.

In addition to practice, Will teaches a design studio at the Kingston School of Art and has been an invited critic, tutor and lecturer at schools of architecture in the UK and mainland Europe.
